Mothers Day Classic
The Mothers Day Classic is a run/walk for breast cancer research. All proceeds from the event go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Since the event s inception in 1998, over $3 million has been raised for the NBCF. Last year, over 50,000 participated in the event nationally with a record 21,600 participating in Melbourne alone.
Participants can dedicate their run or walk to a family member or friend touched by breast cancer by wearing a tribute placard. There will be plenty of activities for everyone including children s face painting, jumping castles, warm-up aerobics and massage.
