Victoria Futurity
Victorian Futurity have organised and run the Victoria Futurity for 10 years. This is a Cutting Horse event with entries from all over Australia and runs for five days. There is approximately $30,000 given away in prize money. The event attracts the best horses and riders in the country to compete in what is arguably the most athletic equine event that exists. Futurity horses are three year olds but the event runs, in addition to the Futurity, classes for horses right up to the Open. This is event is open to horses of any age.
There is a bar available which is open from 3pm and excellent food is available all day. In the evening a 'sit down' restaurant operates. There are many traders in the arena who sell everything that is relevant to Western Horses in general and cutting horses in particular.
Entry fees apply on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of $15.00 per person or $35.00 for a family. The seating is very close to the action with special seats available at an extra cost of $30 per day.
