OKTOBERFEST at Hickinbotham of Dromana
Following the success of the inaugural Oktoberfest at Hickinbotham of Dromana in 2007, the local brewing clubs are now queuing up to enter into this outstanding event.
On tasting are numerous handcrafted beers of various styles produced by members of local and Melbourne based amateur brew clubs and submitted to rigorous testing and judging by well respected and renown beer officiandos. This is an event for any serious beer drinker who admires the diversity of beer styles available internationally, and enjoys boutique beer experiences. The tastings include tasting notes and the opportunity to personally judge the best beer in show from the entrants as a "Peoples Choice award".
The German style food complements the beers, and the live music is entertaining and enlivens the atmosphere. A fun and informative afternoon can be had by beer and wine lovers alike.
The cafe restaurant will also be open for those who wish for a sit down lunch with further food options available with both indoor and out available depending upon the weather. Views across the bay are magic on a sunny day, and the country air is truly invigorating. Relax, unwind and soak in the sights, sounds and sumptuous offerings at the second Hickinbotham of Dromana Oktoberfest in September.
