Swan Hill Pioneers Week
Pioneers Week (from 11 - 17 August) will be an exciting festival celebrating Swan Hill, its history and its amazing diversity.
The week will include a Pioneers Bush Dinner Dance with the Blackberry Jam Bush Band and your chance to show off your skills in the Great Scone Bake Off.
Get into the Pioneers In Racing day at the Swan Hill Jockey Club, or watch some of our legends battle it out in an old-style football drop kick competition.
There will be a model paddlesteamer exhibition, Pioneers Grand Parade and an historic photo display, showcasing Swan Hill's rich past
A bush poetry night, a great debate and tours at Tyntynder Homestead, Burrabliss Farms, and the cemetery will also feature.
And it will all culminate on Sunday 17 August when Better Homes and Gardens television chef "Fast" Ed Halmagyi hosts the Swan Hill Culinary Showcase.
Ed will cook up a three-course meal using local produce for four lucky guests in just 15 minutes!
Plus local up and coming chefs will demonstrate their talents.
