2009 Club Marine Southern 80 Waterski Classic
The 2009 Southern 80 Waterski Classic is a weekend like no other. Attracting 100,000 people from all over Australia and the world over the action packed 3 days, it offers high speed action on the water as well as action on land with Freestyle Motocross demonstrations, rock concerts and Marine & Lifestyle Expo. Entertainment and catering is provided for the whole family. The Southern 80 Waterski Classic has been running for 43 years and is the premier fixture on the Australian Ski Racing calendar. Recognised and known as The Biggest Waterski Race in the World, boats, drivers and skiers compete at speeds of up to 175km/h against 126 hair raising bends on the mighty Murray course between Torrumbarry and Echuca.See the website for the full weekend's events.
