Garden Lovers' Festival
The Garden Lovers' Festival on charming Churchill Island will embrace the spirit of spring this November with a celebration of gardening to delight both budding and seasoned gardeners. Easily accessible by bridge, the historic gardens complementing Churchill Island Heritage Farm will inspire botanical enthusiasts, while providing a picturesque setting for the whole family to enjoy.
Special gardening guests Rick Eckersley and Andrew Laidlaw will present and there will be more than 50 stalls, demonstrations, competitions and live entertainment. Even expert green thumbs will be rewarded by the festivities. Gardening gurus will find what they are looking for.
The event will also feature a range of free children's activities, such as cow milking, sheep shearing, Blacksmithing and working dog demonstrations, along with horse-drawn rides, petting baby animals in the nursery and face painting.
