Yarra Valley Shedfest Wine Festival
Take the right turn to experience the Yarra Valley wineries along the Warburton Highway at Shedfest 2009.
All wineries have sheds. Usually they are homes to important things such as tractors, presses, crushers, barrels and other interesting bits and pieces all vitally important for the production of fine wines.
However, on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2009, the wineries of the Warburton Highway will open their sheds and dust them off in order to accommodate lots of fabulous food, fantastic wine, great live music and fun games.
So make your way onto the Warburton Highway and be pleasantly surprised to discover that there are many wonderful winery 'sheds' to visit.
Tap your toes or take to the dance floor with the live music on offer. And as far as food is concerned there's so much to choose - ranging from perfectly barbecued local products through to sensational cheeses and luscious desserts.
If your type of festival is one where you can relax, taste local produce, experience the charm of small vineyards, be captivated by stunning views, chat to the winemakers, all whilst sipping delightful wines........then Shedfest Wine Festival is for you!
A free TAC shuttle bus will run from Lilydale station daily.
