Shedfest Wine Festival
Come and taste the wines from the 'coolest' part of the Yarra Valley at Shedfest 2008
All wineries have sheds. Usually they are homes to important things such as tractors, presses, crushers, barrels and other interesting bits and pieces all vitally important for the production of fine wines.
However, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October 2007, the wineries of the Warburton Highway will open their sheds and dusting them off in order to accommodate lots of fabulous food, fantastic wine, great live music and fun games.
So make your way onto the Warburton Highway, follow the corrugated iron signs and be pleasantly surprised to discover that there are 15 wonderful winery 'sheds' to visit.
Tap your toes or take to the dance floor with the live music on offer, or perhaps indulge in a leisurely game of croquet or petanque. And as far as food is concerned there's so much to choose - ranging from perfectly barbecued local products through to sensational cheeses and luscious desserts.
Have a look what is on offer in our 'sheds' on the map (available via our website) to plan your day.
