9th Annual Vintage Sports Car Rally
At the 9th Annual Vintage Sports Car Rally, to be held at Yarra Track Wines on Sunday 8 June, you can witness magnificent men and women in their magnificent driving machines, 1920 s and 1930 s sports cars, as they are being put through their paces.
There are plenty of opportunities to see vintage cars on display but few where you see them in competition as they manoeuvre up and down slopes, around trees, stumps and flags with great skill.
This rally has become a popular event for the members of the Club who enjoy the friendly rivalry of the rally and for those who have an appreciation of these cars which in most cases have been carefully restored to original condition by their owners.
The venue is at picturesque Yarra Track Wines in Yarra Glen. On the day you can enjoy vintage wines, gourmet platters,Lasagne or bring along a picnic lunch; walk around and inspect the vintage cars, talk to the proud owners and enjoy the rally and the spectacular vineyard setting .
The rally commences from about 10.30am and entry is free.
