Mullewa Wildflower Show
The Mullewa Wildflower Show was first held in 1987 when the wildflower group wanted to bring the “bush to the people”. It has since gone from strength to strength.
The town hall is transformed into a bush scene showcasing the entire native flowering shrubs, flowers and trees found in the area including some great specimens of the most famous in the area the Wreath flower Lechenaultia Macrantha. Then along one side are specimens on display in small containers labelled and sorted into their respective flower family and identified by the resident botanist.
Morning and afternoon tea is also provided by the local Anglican ladies in the adjoining lesser hall at an additional cost. A good variety of good quality souvenirs is also available for purchase.
So come along to the Wildflower Show set in the heart of Mullewa.
