Australasian Safari
It’s with great excitement that we announce that the 2008 Australasian Safari will take place from the 23 August and run until the 30 August. The start location will be revealed shortly but let us assure you it will be logistically convenient for all. The finish location will once again be Perth where post event festivities will also take place.
Western Australia will again play host to this exciting event, frequently referred to as Australia’s version of ‘Paris to Dakar’, for the second time in 2008 showcasing the incredibly diverse landscape the state had to offer.
As part of the Australasian Safari competitors will traverse outback road and tracks via a route that takes in a great variety of geographical challenges. The inclusion of varying vehicle types, participating in either a competitive or touring element, allows for a spectacle like no other in Western Australia’s amazing Outback.
