Kondinin Family Fun Day
The Kondinin Family Fun Day and Lions Auction, to be held on Saturday, 11 October 2008, just got a bigger boost of fun! The Shire of Kondinin successfully received funding from Lotterywest through their Community Events and Celebrations Grant.
Gordon Street in Kondinin will be closed and will be the venue for the day with stalls lining the street. There will be everything from jewellery, cakes, sausage sizzle, cosmetics and plant stalls. There will also be an area for sideshow alley for the young ones and the young at heart! We have “Didgeridoo Breath” teaching us all about cyclic breathing and entertainment throughout the day. Mad Cow children’s entertainment will bring along a bouncy castle, Gladiator Dual and Bungee Run. These rides will be free for children to enjoy.
The annual Lions Auction will start at 11am, with anything you can imagine being offered for the right price.
There will be a free bus service running from Hyden (leaving Hyden at 9.15am) to Kondinin via Karlgarin in the morning and returning to Hyden in the afternoon.
