‘Lush’ is an exhibition by Helen Ansell on display at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery. Port Hedland is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Helen Ansell's creative and eye-catching work is the result of her life-changing shift from Edinburgh, one of the art capitals of Europe, to Wiluna, a remote Aboriginal community in the arid heart of Western Australia.

Helen is the lead facilitator of the Let's Get Started! workshops and is working on a new body of Pilbara-inspired work.

Opening night for ‘Lush’ is Thursday 22 October 2009 and is running all the way until the 24 December 2009.
