Eco Logika by Charlene O' Brien
Emerging textile artists Charlene O’Brien combines raw organic fibres, hand spun silk yarns, recycled remnants, Merino wool and luxurious sustainable silks, fused with various constructive and embellished techniques by hand and machine.
Her enticing colour palette of neutral antique hues, hand dyed in natural botanicals, is highlighted by vibrant appliqué and beadwork using glass, shell and semi-precious stone.
The Mundaring Arts Centre is situated in the heart of the creative, hills community of Mundaring, only forty minutes north east from Perth. They support local Western Australian artists and crafts people by promoting and exhibiting their work, fostering and advocating their inclusion in the activities and cultural development of the Mundaring Shire, Eastern Metro Region and the State of Western Australia.
