heARTlines: Children's: Literature and Book Illustration Festival

All the magic, imagination and excitement of the illustrated page returns to the Mundaring Arts Centre with the third heARTlines festival of literary and book art. A wide range of events, workshops and displays will support a fascinating exhibition of interest to all ages.

The festival aims to promote literature and visual literacy amongst children and youth, and to parents, teachers, librarians, adult writers and artists.

The Mundaring Arts Centre is situated in the heart of the creative, hills community of Mundaring, only forty minutes north east from Perth. They support local Western Australian artists and crafts people by promoting and exhibiting their work, fostering and advocating their inclusion in the activities and cultural development of the Mundaring Shire, Eastern Metro Region and the State of Western Australia.
