2008 Spanish Film Festival
The Spanish film festival celebrates its 2nd year in Perth with another season of award-wining, entertaining, provocative and moving films screening from May 22-28 at Cinema Paradiso.
This year’s selection provides a diverse and vibrant overview of today’s Spanish film production with 16 features and two programmes of short films.
The opening night selection is the award-wining, box office smash Seven Billiard Tables, which features one of the great Spanish actresses-Maribel Verdu, from Pan’s Labyrinth,as a wife and mother who is forced to make some life changing decisions.
The opening night screening on May 22 will be followed by a Spanish Fiesta at Artrage bakery complex with entertainment, drinks and tapas from The Pony Club restaurant.
