Kalamunda Karnivale
An event which is quickly becoming part of the entertainment landscape of the Hills, the Kalamunda Karnivale.
The event celebrates the start of the Christmas festive season, promotes community participation and highlights local talent.
Local businesses have been asked to bring their product to the streets in the form of alfresco dining, decorative window displays or special opportunities to sample or view products. Local community groups and residents will be encouraged to participate in performances, competitions, displays and of course retail activity.
Throughout the day there will be street theatre, musical performances, fashion parades, kid’s activities, competitions, food and much more.
After sunset the stage will be transformed for a traditional nativity performance by the local primary school led by the three wise men on camel. The choir will perform carols and at the conclusion, Santa will make an appearance to wish everyone a very merry and safe Christmas.
