Settlers House Jazz Weekend
Settlers House in York has long been a popular destination for hungry travellers seeking a country meal. Over the years it has also become a well patronised spot over the many musical festivals York hosts every year.
Since the dates for the traditional York Jazz Festival have been moved into October, Settlers House has stepped up to provide a full program of music over the September long weekend, starting the annual "Settlers House Jazz Weekend".
The music starts on Saturday afternoon (after the Australian Football League Grand Final of course) and continues through the evening. Sunday morning to late evening and then all day Monday!
There are no breaks in our entertainment and a variety of different bands and artists perform starting with three to five piece jazz bands up to the Aquinas College Full Swing Band.
The best bit though - there is no charge of our jazz! Just come to Settlers, buy a beer, coffee or meal if you are hungry, sit down and enjoy!
