Ballet at the Regal

Sensational dance in the heart of cosmopolitan Subiaco. Enjoy an outstanding selection of modern and neo classical ballet in this iconic and much loved venue, where our dancer’s really do get the chance to fly as The West Australian Ballet presents Ballet at the Regal.

For the first time in Australia, Uwe Scholz masterpiece, Suite No 2 for two pianos by Rachmaninov. This neo classic gem, with its pure like choreography features striking imagery by Kandinsky and live piano accompaniment.

Ivan Cavallari’s second new ballet for the company is a contemplation on immortality and is set to the stirring Andantino from Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No 2.

Also included in this program is Cerrudo’s Lickety-split and Tim Harbour’s new work. If you missed these exciting pieces at the Quarry, here is your chance to see them fully staged in the art deco ambience of The Regal.
