WASO Rhapsody in Blue
The West Australian Symphony Orchestra brings you Rhapsody in Blue. A big band with a Bernstein's musical version of Romeo and Juliet, and the intriguing English scandals of Thomas Adés make for a thrilling, memorable on-your-toes end to the season. Also including La Valse, Ravel's explosive cocktail of courtly waltz and Viennese decadence opens a dance extravaganza.
The Perth Concert Hall, renowned as one of the finest music acoustics in the southern hemisphere, is located in the city centre and is within easy reach of major hotels and transport.
The West Australian Symphony Orchestra is Western Australia’s largest and busiest performing arts company. It plays a central role in the heart of musical life in Western Australia, performing over 130 concerts each year with some of the world’s most illustrious conductors and soloists to audiences in excess of 180,000.
