Rottnest Channel Swim

The WAtoday Rottnest Channel Swim is a 19.7 kilometre swim from Cottesloe Beach to Thomson Bay on the holiday island of Rottnest. Participants can compete in teams of two or four or for the extremely dedicated, a solo crossing.

The event is one of the largest open water swimming events in the world and has become an icon in Australia’s sporting calendar, capturing the imagination of the public and ocean swimmers alike.
