Whyalla Gift Carnival and Food and Wine Fair 2011

Events Whyalla in conjunction with Whyalla Mount Laura Lions Club are pleased to announce the Whyalla Gift Carnival and Food and Wine Fair 2011.

The two feature events of the carnival are King and Queen of the Mountain and The Whyalla Gift.

King and Queen of the Mountain is a six kilometre run from Bennett Oval to Mount Laura and back with AUD2, 000.00 in prizes on offer.

The Whyalla Gift will have a purse of AUD6, 000.00 and attract top runners from all over the state as well as Victoria.

The Food and Wine Fair has a wide range of gourmet foods and two wineries offering tastings and sales.

There is a jumping castle, giant slide and face painting for kids.

Profits from the day assist local athletes.
