Wind in the Roundhouse Concert

Junee's annual Wind in the Roundhouse concert, organised by Junee Shire Arts Council, is held in a unique setting. The venue is the Junee Railway Workshop, known as the "Roundhouse" because of its shape.

The stage for the concert is a flat top rail wagon hitched to a locomotive sitting on the turntable, a moveable platform which is used to turn engines and carriages around. This very different "stage", with the audience sitting back under the stars within the centre of the Roundhouse, makes for a unique experience
