Crescent Head

  • Crescent Head is a pretty seaside village tucked into the lee side of Big Nobby, a volcanic remnant that slopes towards the sea in a tumble of basalt boulders. Between its summit and the sea lies a six hole golf course with magnificent views over the town and ocean. Crescent Head is famous in surf circles for one of the best right hand point breaks in the world. The area is hemmed on the south by Goolawah Reserve and Limeburners Creek Nature Reserve. North of the town lies Hat Head National Park which stretches all the way to South West
