The town of Guyra is located between Armidale and Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands of the New England region. Established as part of the extension of the railway in 1880, Guyra was originally a dairy farming community. Today it grows staple crops such as potatoes and other produce. Enjoy bird watching at Mother of Ducks Lagoon, a wetlands reserve that attracts nature and bird lovers from all over the world.
