The historic town of Largs is located north of Morpeth in the picturesque Hunter Valley. It was originally established by cedar getters and settled by the Lang family in 1921. The town was an important river port and boat building area before the river changed its course.

Visit Largs Public School, established in 1838, one of the oldest remaining schools in Australia currently in use. Have a country meal at the Largs Hotel and relax in its country charm.
