Port Kembla

  • Port Kembla is approximately 10.5 kilometres south of central Wollongong and bounded on the east by the Pacific Ocean. The suburb comprises a seaport, large industrial complex, a small harbour foreshore nature reserve, and a small commercial sector. Some major features of the area include Blue Scope Steel, Port Kembla Harbour, Fisherman's Beach, BHP Centenary and Coomaditchy Lagoon.
