Quirindi

Urban

Quirindi is located south of Tamworth, in the heart of the Liverpool Ranges. This region is regarded as the richest agricultural area in New South Wales, supporting everything from olive plantations to rolling fields of sunflowers.

Quirindi is the hub of the Liverpool Plains, the “get together place” for the surrounding villages of Werris Creek, Currabubula, Wallabadah, Willow Tree, Spring Ridge, Blackville and Premer. The footpath of the main street is stamped with Liverpool Plains’ cattle and sheep brandings from the past century. This area is about heritage, horse-sports and country spirit. The attractions in and around Quirindi are numerous and fascinating and cover convict, railway and farming history.
