At the doorstep to Nightcap National Park and the spectacular Protesters Falls, it is popular for its natural beauty, bushwalks and lookouts. Protesters Falls were named after the protesters whose anti-logging campaign in the late 1970s and early 1980s led to the declaration of the National Park in 1983.
