Tuross Head
-
With its stately Norfolk Island pines and pelicans on the water, it's hard to find a more idyllic coastal location than Tuross Head. Set on spectacular headland, the town is bracketed by ocean beaches on one side and a network of tidal lakes on the other. The lakes offer exceptional fishing and boating and there are also walking trails, swimming and bird watching in Eurobodalla National Park - a 30 minute drive away. Don't miss summer prawning on Coila Lake and sunset picnics on the headland. Nearby Batemans Bay, Broulee and Narooma are worth a visit.
