Currumbin is small coastal town on the southern Gold Coast just south of Surfers Paradise. Currumbin boasts a sheltered swimming and surfing beach where the mouth of the Currumbin Creek and the Pacific Ocean meet. Currumbin can be distinguished from other beaches by the Currumbin Rock. Standing several metres tall, the rock separates the two beaches of Currumbin and offers an excellent vantage point to watch the local surfers brave the waves.
