Inglewood

  • Heading west along the Cunningham Highway, you'll find the little town of Inglewood, established in 1862. Inglewood is 91 kilometres east of Goondiwindi and 109 kilometres west of Warwick. Lake Coolmunda, 12 kilometres east of town, boasts some very pretty picnic spots along its shores. Excellent fishing can be enjoyed from either a boat or the shore. Lake Coolmunda Fishing Classic happens each October. Fresh water fishing sports are also abundant along the McIntyre Brook. Inglewood is emerging as a hub of the olive industry in Southern Queensland Country, with more than 340000 olive trees planted to date. Harvest time
