Port Kenny

  • Port Kenny is a small township situated on the Flinders Highway, between Elliston and Streaky Bay. It overlooks beautiful Venus Bay and caters for the needs of the surrounding mixed farms, local fishing industry and holiday makers. It is the perfect base for excellent jetty or boat fishing. Port Kenny is also renowned for an abundance and variety of fish such as garfish, snook, flounder, trevally, King George whiting and tommies. If it's surfing you enjoy, the nearby surf beaches are fast-gaining a widespread reputation for both board riding and fishing, with good catches of large salmon being the norm
