Nelson

Nelson is the finishing point of a Great Ocean Road journey and the beginning of a new adventure around Victoria's Discovery Coast, Glenelg River and Princess Margaret Rose Cave. The Glenelg River winds 400 kilometres from the ocean at Nelson up to the Grampians Ranges in the north. Its placid waters make it ideal for canoeing and fishing and there are boat launching ramps at several points along the river. There are canoe hire facilities in town.
