Mt Victoria is a charming Victorian village and is the westernmost township of the Blue Mountains and has the Blue Mountains highest point above sea level.

Many of the village’s buildings are heritage listed, with the village retaining much of its 19th century charm.

Mount Vic, as the locals call it, offers a variety of bushwalking and rock climbing opportunities, including the historic early roads down the escarpment from Mount York.

The Local History Museum is housed in the heritage listed sandstone building, circa 1884. at Mt Victoria railway station. Opening hours are weekends, public and school holidays from 12 noon to 3pm.
