Blayney Shire has much to offer a visitor, it is rich in history, attractions and friendly people. You can visit well preserved historic villages, see magnificent country homesteads, tour interesting museums, inspect historic buildings and view nature at its best. A range of accommodation options, shady parks and gardens, tourist information centre, art studios, craft outlets, and a water sport paradise at Carcoar Dam are available to visitors.

Tourist attractions include: Blayney Wind Farm: the construction of the largest of its type in NSW. A Viewing Platform and Interpretive Centre are on the shores Carcoar Dam.

Historical Villages: The area boasts the historical villages of Millthorpe, Carcoar, Newbridge, Neville, Lyndhurst and Mandurama. Most of the townships were settled in the early 1800’s and as a consequence historical shop fronts, worker’s cottage, bluestone churches and grand townhouses make a visit to these villages a trip back in history. Village cafes and gift shops are open to visitors at weekends and some days during the week.
