Dramatic blowholes
The famous Kiama Blowhole is in fact two awesome water features in one. When conditions are right the larger one can jet sea water up to 60 metres into the air with a pounding fury. The smaller one is more consistent but just as dramatic.

Rainforest life
Rich sub-tropical rainforest is scattered throughout the Southern Highlands. At Minammurra rainforest, near Kiama, the rainforest drips with life. Here, wallabies crash through undergrowth and whip birds call from shadows thrown by strangling figs.
