Manning Valley, New South Wales

The rewards of a visit to the Manning Valley are many. The region has four national parks, rare subtropical rainforests, and one of the largest drop waterfalls in the southern hemisphere. Don’t miss the majestic Ellenborough Falls – one of the southern hemisphere’s longest waterfalls. Visit the quaint heritage towns of Wingham and Tinonee. Be awed by the 1000-year-old giant Moreton Bay fig trees in Wingham Brush. Savour the fabulous coastline views from Crowdy Head Lighthouse.

Camp with the kangaroos at Crowdy Bay National Park. Enjoy a BBQ and a swim at Saltwater or Old Bar Beach. Cruise the Manning River from Croki or Taree or hire a boat from the marina. Enjoy a riverside picnic in Taree, and savour the best fish and chips on the Mid North Coast.
