Rowena, New South Wales

Rowena is a charming village which was originally a prominent railway siding with a wheat stack and a hotel. The Rowena Village Inn is now the trading post, being a licensed premises as wall as a shop. Trains carrying wheat and cotton still pass through Rowena.

There is plenty of opportunity for backpackers to find work during good seasons in the cotton and wheat industries.
