Nikenbah, Queensland

Nikenbah, at Hervey Bay, is best known for its very good markets which are scheduled on the first and third Sundays of each month. You could even pick up man's best friend whilst shopping, as the market stands are set up out at the animal refuge. The name of the local cemetery gives a bit of an idea as to the origins of the district's first settlers, with the very Danish sounding name of Alborg.
