Gold Coast City Art Gallery is home to Australia's richest photography prize. Gold Coast Arts Centre is one of Australia's largest regional arts and entertainment complexes with a gallery, theatre, cinema, restaurant, café, function and community rooms. Art isn't confined indoors. Sculpture Walkway is one of Australia's few public sculpture parks. Public sculptures adorn city streets - view Burleigh street scapes. Each September, Currumbin Sculpture Festival Swell attracts 30,000 to view 50 world renowned outdoor sculpture artists.

Events draw on a proud music heritage - there's opera and jazz in the vineyards, the annual Blues on Broadbeach, Beaudesert Country Music Festival or the Tyalgum Classical Musical Festival.
