Park of moss and mists
Named by Captain Cook in 1770, Cape Palmerston has changed little since. Wooroonooran National Park, covered in dense rainforest, is among Australia's wettest parks. Walking trails lead to spectacular cascades like Tchupala Falls, surrounded by mosses, ferns and orchids, shrouded in fine mist.
Located at the foothills of the Connors Range, Sarina is a relatively unspoiled area, which has retained much of its natural charm, while having developed into a thriving business area. Enjoy the country hospitality, beautiful beaches, scenic mountain ranges, prime fishing and prawning.
