Wentworth Cemetery
At Wentworth Cemetery there are graves dating back to the 1850's as well as a fascinating walking tour. Many of the district's pioneers are buried at the Wentworth cemetery including several well know businessmen such as William Gunn and John Egge. The occupants have not always rested easily here, as the front fence and some of the graves were moved back to allow room for a road and the building of Lock 10. Gundabooka National Park
Gundabooka National Park area is 43,000 hectares. The main feature is the landscape and Gundabooka Range. The range rises to a height of 500 metres at Mount Gundabooka. From the summit of the Gundabooka range there are extensive views of the wide open plains typical of north west NSW. The rust coloured rocks that can be seen on the rugged surface of the cliffs, gorges and hills are over 385 million years old. Gundabooka National Park is of great cultural significance to the Ngemba Aboriginal people. Certain places in the range were used as venues for large ceremonial gatherings. Paintings

Historic Daydream Mine
Historic Daydream Mine was founded in 1881, before the beginning of the Broken Hill Mining Company (BHP). The mine is just a 40 minute drive from Broken Hill. Drive through some of Australia's great outback scenery into Apollyon Valley then take a one hour fully-guided underground and surface tour of the old mine workings to see how this mine once operated, mined by Cornish men and boys sorting the silver - some as young as eight years old. Devonshire teas, cold drinks and souvenirs are available. Sturdy, rubber-soled footwear is essential in accordance with the Department of Mines Safety Act.
