Come to Beerenberg Strawberry Farm and pick your own delicious strawberries during South Australia''s strawberry season from October to May. See the Jam Kitchen. See the historic old half timbered barn constructed in the 1840s. Our farm shop is open seven days a week all year round except Christmas Day. Beerenberg sits at the eastern end of the main street of Hahndorf, among the beautiful scenery perpetuated by the paintings of Sir Hans Heysen. The Paech family continues a horticultural tradition which began in 1839. Beerenberg kitchens produce jams, pickles, chutneys, mustards, marinades and sauces to old Hahndorf recipes.

The establishment of Daylily Garden commenced in the mid 1950''s with the planting of the more significant trees, such as Canadian Redwoods, Copper Beech, Pecan, Maple and Liquidambar. This then paved the way for mass planting of Daylilies, Camellias and Rhododendrons.
