Meadows Monthly Market
The Meadows Monthly Market is held on the second Sunday of each month and features stalls inside and outside with a wide variety of local produce including vegetables, fruit, jams, honey and eggs, plants, books, crafts and collectables. There are displays and demonstrations, which vary from month to month. Barbecue, Devonshire teas, sandwiches and soup are available at reasonable prices. Proceeds assist maintenance of the Meadows Hall. Admission is free and there is plenty of car parking, as well as a playground and park nearby. Willunga Farmers Market
Willunga Farmers Market was the first farmers market to be established in South Australia and is now considered one of the best. ‘Meet the grower and taste the region’ is the theme for this market, held every Saturday in Willunga Town Square. With more than 55 stalls selling fresh primary produce from regional farms and Fleurieu Peninsula products shoppers experience a diverse variety, showcasing all that is fresh and seasonal. Bleasdale Vineyards
Bleasdale Winery and Vineyards is owned and operated by fifth generation members of the Potts family, with Paul Hotker as the current winemaker. The winery, founded in 1850, has been classified by the National Trust and is listed on the State and National Heritage Registers. The cellars, constructed from red gum and limestone, house the old red gum vats and some of the equipment used by previous generations.
