Phaedrus Estate

Phaedrus Estate is a small, innovative winery situated on a ten acre vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula. It was established in 1997 by qualified winemakers Ewan Campbell and Maitena Zantvoort who had a vision to make a benchmark Australian Pinot Noir. Half the vineyard is planted to five different clones of Pinot Noir and the rest is planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Shiraz. "Phaedrus" (pron. Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery is an ever-changing program of quality exhibitions ensures a fresh experience every time you visit the Peninsula. Their permanent collection comprises 1200 works of art and is considered the foremost in Australia. It includes work by Arthur Boyd, Russell Drysdale, Violet Teague, Margaret Preston, Sidney Nolan and Brett Whiteley.
