Australian Alpaca Centre
The most ancient and aristocratic of all farm animals, the Alpaca is now thriving in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The fibre has a beautiful texture and fineness whilst also having three times the tensile strength, or wear resistance of normal wool. This softness and strength has been previously unknown in the fashion world.
Visit the historic town of Berrima and see the beautiful alpaca fashions including jumpers, throws, scarves, capes, and ladies t-shirts and jackets. Also on offer are original alpaca memorabilia and toys.
