1770 Liquid Adventures offers guided kayak tours and kayak hires in the picturesque Town of 1770.

Join one of their experienced guides on a Sunset Tour around the spectacular waterways of 1770. Get up close and personal with dolphins, visit Cook’s first landing point and marvel at the variety of secluded beaches, coves and sandbars. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks while watching one of 1770’s famous and amazing ocean sunsets.

Families will enjoy the guided Family Tour, taking place in the morning and includes bird and marine life identification for the kids, fish feeding, homemade biscuits and tea/coffee/juice.

Explore the stunning Round Hill Creek and the creatures that inhabit the area on the Nature Tour. Learn about the environment, wildlife and history of the area. This tour is all about exploring, seeing things from a different perspective and learning about a variety wildlife and creatures you would normally walk and paddle past.

From $40 to $50

The Family tour is fun for the whole family! They have double and triple quality kayaks and life jackets.

Starting point is at the 1770 foreshore just past the marina. After gearing everyone up with life jackets, a brief introduction on safety and paddling techniques follows. All kids are given a bird and marine life identification slate to use on the tour.

You’ll then start a paddle, feed some fish along the way, explore the mangroves and try to spot some birds and marine life that the kids can identify with their charts. After that, they’re off to the sandbar or a beach for some morning tea and swimming.

Then it’s another paddle and explore back to the starting point.

Join 1770 Liquid Adventures on a fully guided sunset kayak tour through the magnificent waterways of 1770 and around the Sir Joseph Banks conservation area.

The tour starts at the 1770 foreshore, where you meet to gear up and get some tips on safety and paddling techniques.

Paddle past Captain Cooks landing point, stop at a secluded beach and then onto the headland to spot wild dolphins, turtles and other marine life.
Finish the day by watching one of 1770’s famous ocean sunsets while you enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks overlooking Bustard Bay.

On this nature-based, three hour kayak tour, explore the stunning Round Hill Creek and the creatures that inhabit the area. Learn about the mangroves, the environment, history and the wildlife. Every day is a surprise, you never know what you might see!

The tour begins at the 1770 foreshore where participants meet and gear up. After a few tips on paddling techniques and safety you’re off in your double kayaks.

The exact route of the tour will be determined by the conditions (tide and wind) on the day. They will always endeavour to take the best possible route.

Hear about Captain Cook and the history of 1770 and Agnes Water. 

Enjoy stunning views, tranquility and spot the local wildlife. Be surprised at what you might find.

Discover beaches and sandbars, go for a swim if you like.

What you might see on the day will depend on the season, the tide, the weather… and your luck. All wildlife is exactly that – Wild! They never know what they will spot. It could be dolphins, stingrays, crabs, turtles, snails, fish, birds or more.
