Spend the day exploring Moreton Island on your choice of land or water-based tour before joining the local Eco Rangers at dusk to hand feed a member of the wild dolphin family that visit the shores each evening. This experience is undoubtedly the highlight of any visit to Tangalooma. And be sure to smile, as their photographers are there to capture your perfect day out!

Since 1987, Tangalooma Island Resort has offered Brisbane’s closest Whale Watching day cruise, plus the opportunity to enjoy island life for the day, and night if you stay longer.

Tangalooma’s Whale Watching Cruises operate from June through to the end of October, with departures available from Brisbane and Tangalooma. See these majestic humpback whales in their natural environment as part of an awe-inspiring day tour. Choose your whale watching tour inclusion on the Classic Day Cruise, Dolphin Viewing Day Cruise or Premium Dolphin Feeding Day Cruise.
