Underwater Adventures Tasmania runs daily dives out of Hobart for snorkelers and scuba divers. You can explore kelp forests, weedy reefs or a ship graveyard, see colourful and unique marine life, and discover what makes Tinderbox Marine Reserve so special.
Even if you have never dived before, you can discover the underwater world with an instructor by your side after an introductory training course.
Your adventure starts the moment you step on board the comfortable 10 metre dive boat, Kahala, which departs from Hobart.
Relax and soak in the spectacular views of Hobart, nestled against its mountain backdrop, and iconic landmarks including the Iron Pot as we head down the Derwent River to your dive site. On the way you are likely to see penguins, shearwaters, sea eagles and pods of dolphins, and whales if you are lucky.
Underwater Adventures are a member of Scuba Diving International and offer a full range of courses. Your guide has been training divers for over two decades and is very knowledgeable and passionate about the marine life of southeast Tasmania.
Join one of the regular dives or create your own group dive adventure anywhere in southeast Tasmania. Underwater Adventures marine-themed cruises are also suitable for non-divers.
Weather conditions can vary and Underwater Adventures will select alternative destinations if necessary for a quality and safe experience.
