West Coast Yacht Charters offers a timeless journey across Macquarie Harbour, from Strahan, into the ancient temperate wilderness of the island''s unspoiled west coast, on "Stormbreaker" a 20 metre (60 foot) steel ketch.

"Stormbreaker" is spacious and the layout ensures you are comfortable in all weathers. The yacht has good head room throughout, two double private cabins, one large six-bunk cabin, two bathrooms with hot and cold water showers, toilets and handbasins. The large saloon and under cover on-deck areas are perfect for relaxing and meals.

You will travel under billowing sails with a maximum of nine others across one of Australia''s largest harbours to the mouth of the Gordon River. The ketch is the only commercial vessels able to complete the 37 kilometre journey to Sir John Falls deep in the World Heritage Area. You will be surrounded by ancient forests impenetrable and silent.
